The Government of the Russian Federation, on behalf of President Vladimir Putin, has developed and approved a concept for the development of first aid, which is provided by citizens before the arrival of medical specialists. This was announced on March 24 by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at an operational meeting with deputy prime ministers.

"A lot of attention is being paid to these issues. Citizens are being educated and instructors are being trained. Various workshops and educational events are held. Within the framework of the concept, such work will be strengthened in order to create a culture of first aid and improve people's literacy in this area," Mishustin said.

According to him, the ability to quickly navigate in an emergency situation can save lives and prevent serious health complications. The Prime Minister reminded that no one is insured against accidents, so everyone needs an appropriate set of knowledge.

Mishustin announced on January 12 that the Russian government had approved a program of state guarantees of free medical care to citizens. He stressed that special attention in the program is paid to the prevention of diseases.
