This opinion was expressed by Alexander Perendzhiev, associate professor of the Department of Political Analysis and Socio-Psychological Processes at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, military political scientist, on Tuesday, March 24.

According to the expert, the publication in the media of reports about the country's alleged readiness to participate in the confrontation is an attempt to send a signal to Iran.

"When they want to strike, they strike. When they want to enter into a conflict, they enter into it. In the meantime, we are just talking about a warning from Saudi Arabia to Iran so that it stops striking at the country's territory," the political scientist said in a conversation with Lenta.Ru .
