The producer allowed the transformation of the Russian rating of TV series into a platform of recommendations

The Russian series rating, developed by Medialogia, will become the main recommendation platform for viewers and will allow filmmakers to better recognize audience expectations. Producer Anatoly Tupitsyn told Izvestia about this on Tuesday, March 24.

"Finally, in our country, in our industry, there is a single national rating of TV series, which, I am sure, will become the main recommendation platform for our audience. This is important for both TV channels and digital platforms," he said.

Tupitsyn noted that each digital platform has its own rating system — sometimes the same project on different platforms has different ratings, which can make it difficult for the viewer to choose.

"It is very important for us to know and understand that this or that topic, this or that format, actor or genre is really in demand, they love him, they want to see him again, they are waiting for him. For us, as producers of these series, this is such a significant pointing finger that will tell us what is really needed at the moment for our audience," the producer concluded.

On the same day, Medialogia presented the Russian Series rating, the first release of which was the top 100 most popular projects of 2025. The scoring methodology takes into account 19 different parameters. The system analyzes not only search queries, but also the actual viewing time on TV and online platforms, as well as the discussion activity in social networks.

Vladislav Stratonnikov, the company's product development manager, said at the presentation of the Russian Series Rating at the same time that Medialogia employees process a huge amount of information every day. They monitor over 100,000 media outlets and more than 3 billion accounts, and then process the information they receive. The employees present the results in the form of understandable analytics.
