REN TV will show the new popular science film "SKIN" on March 29

The skin is the largest organ of the human body, to which we are so accustomed that we do not even consider it an organ. Meanwhile, this is almost two square meters of a natural barrier between a person and the outside world. The new film "SKIN" from the series "BODY AS A GADGET" from NMG DOC is dedicated to our perfect biological spacesuit and the main interface of communication with the world. But do we know how to control this "gadget"? And is it true that the skin has "vision" and is able to sense danger faster than the brain? The creators of the project promise: this popular science film will forever change your self-image and teach you how to upgrade your body to the level of a supercomputer.

In the film "Skin", leading Russian scientists, doctors and biohackers will tell: how to read information through touch, why the skin knows how to feel sympathy and antipathy, how to rejoice and become depressed. And most importantly, how to stop aging by "hacking" your own bio—settings.

The film's authors will conduct a series of experiments to find out where intuition really lies. And American journalist Pearl Junior will reveal the mystery of Michael Jackson's unique skin color especially for the viewers of the project.

The "BODY AS A GADGET" series produced by NMG DOK is the first Russian TV project that tells a wide audience about the possibilities of biohacking in simple and accessible language. The authors answer the main question: how to use the resources of your own body for your own good. The premiere of the first picture of the cycle, the film "REASON", was successfully broadcast on the REN TV channel on February 1, 2026. The project attracted the attention of 2 million viewers.
