The International Association of Athletics Federations (World Athletics) has lifted all sanctions against the All-Russian Athletics Federation (VFLA) in connection with doping violations. This was announced on March 24 by Russian Sports Minister Mikhail Degtyarev.

Prior to that, the VFLA was suspended from international competitions in 2015 following a report by the independent commission of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).
