The United States is looking for suppliers of explosives and mine clearance equipment for Ukraine

The U.S. Department of State has initiated a search for contractors among small businesses to supply explosives and specialized equipment to Ukraine. This was reported on March 24 by RIA Novosti with reference to government documents from the State Department.

According to the agency's materials, the purchases are aimed at supporting the Ukrainian Ammunition disposal Units (EOD), which are engaged in the search and elimination of unexploded shells and mines. The list of required items includes plastic explosives (C4), detonators, detonator caps, and detonating cords.

The logistics scheme involves two transportation options. Shipments can be shipped directly to Kiev or through the State Department's distribution center in Baltimore, Maryland. It clarifies that the delivery period should not exceed 180 days from the date of possible signing of the contract, adds "Газета.Ru ".

It is emphasized that at this stage the request is purely exploratory in nature. It is aimed at exploring market opportunities and is not an official announcement of a tender or a commitment by the authorities to conclude a deal in the near future.
