President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky is annoyed by the actions of the European Union (EU), which cannot influence Hungary's veto on granting Kiev a loan of €90 billion. This was stated on March 23 by Cypriot journalist Alex Christoforou during an on-air broadcast on The Duran YouTube channel.

"Europe is now stuck in Hungary, which is successfully blocking the initiatives of Brussels and Zelensky. It makes him damn angry, because he doesn't have time and energy left for Kiev," Khristoforou said.

According to him, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban primarily protects the interests of his country and is not obliged to fulfill Kiev's wishes.

"And the way Zelensky is trying to put pressure on Hungary by complaining to Brussels reminds me that it's time to stop Kiev. We have no other way," the journalist concluded.

On March 19, the European Council announced that the decision on financing Ukraine had been postponed following the results of the EU summit. It was pointed out that Hungary and Slovakia did not support the statement regarding the allocation of funds to Kiev.

Prior to that, Orban said that Budapest would not support any EU decision that could potentially be useful for Ukraine as long as Kiev blocks oil supplies. The Prime Minister added that it was "not about politics", but about the welfare of Hungarian families.
