In the city of Yugorsk, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug (Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug), police officers caught a lynx that wandered into the city limits and returned the predator to its natural habitat. This was announced on March 24 by the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk.

"At night, the duty station received a message about the appearance of a lynx on the territory of the city. First, she was seen in a city park, and then near a sanatorium, a dispensary," Wolf wrote on the MAX messenger.

It is specified that employees of the State traffic Inspectorate went to the place. The police found the animal on the ledge of the window of the first floor of the building and caught the lynx. Then the animal was taken to a remote forest area and released in the protected area of the state Nature Reserve "Malaya Sosva" named after V.V. Rayevsky.

On January 7, a couple rescued an emaciated tiger cub from a frozen river in the Khabarovsk Territory. It was noted that two cubs were found, one of which died. They were taken to the Amur Tiger Center for further examination. It turned out that the surviving cub had no injuries.
