On March 24, the press service of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in Sevastopol published footage of the aftermath of an explosion in a multi-storey building.
"The fire in the apartment building has been completely extinguished," the Telegram channel said.
It is specified that in the neighboring building, which was damaged, rescue services continue to disassemble structures. 198 people and 55 pieces of equipment participated in the liquidation of the incident.
According to the agency, psychologists of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are working with citizens.
On March 24, Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev reported an explosion in a residential apartment building. Later it became known about the two dead. Razvozhaev later added that eight people were injured in the incident.
