The Israeli side does not participate in the negotiations between the United States and Iran. This was reported on March 24 by the Semafor portal, citing sources.

"Israel is currently not a direct party to the negotiations, although it receives information about them," the publication says.

According to the portal, special envoy of the American leader Stephen Witkoff and son-in-law of US President Donald Trump Jared Kushner are participating in the negotiations.

Trump announced on March 23 that the US military would temporarily suspend strikes on Iranian power plants and energy infrastructure amid talks between Washington and Tehran. He also said that the United States and Iran had held two days of fruitful negotiations to resolve the conflict.

On the same day, the Iranian Foreign Ministry strongly denied the information about the alleged negotiations. According to the ministry, peace initiatives come only from the countries of the Middle East, and the statements of the American leader are an attempt to "buy time" for a military operation.

The Ynet portal, citing an Israeli official, reported on March 23 that the United States plans to announce the end of the military operation against Iran on April 9. It is specified that this will allow the American leader to visit Israel on Independence Day to receive the award.
