The locomotive driver and his assistant were killed as a result of an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on a depot in Volnovakha, Donetsk People's Republic. This was announced on March 24 by the Russian Foreign Ministry's Ambassador-at-large for crimes of the Kiev regime, Rodion Miroshnik.
