Calculations of the self-propelled guns "Gvozdika" destroyed the strongholds of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporozhye region

Calculations of the self-propelled artillery installation (ACS) 2S1 "Gvozdika" of the Vostok group of forces destroyed a network of fortified strongholds of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Zaporizhia region. This was announced on March 24 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

Reconnaissance using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) revealed a network of Ukrainian Armed Forces positions in the forest belt of the Zaporizhia region. Ukrainian militants secretly transferred personnel between shelters and firing points, strengthening the defenses with fortifications. The discovered stronghold was designed for long-term retention and included dugouts, UAV control points and electronic warfare (EW) stations.

After clarifying the coordinates, the calculations of the Gvozdika ACS received the task of striking. The gunners took up positions and fired a series of accurate shots at the targets. The effective interaction of drones and artillery, provided by domestic means of communication, made it possible to destroy enemy strongholds, shelters and manpower, thwarting his attempt to gain a foothold in this area.

On March 20, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the calculations of the Buk-M3 anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) of the 71st Guards anti-aircraft missile brigade of the Vostok group of forces repelled a combined attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Zaporizhia region. The ministry noted that after an operational analysis, the objects were identified as multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) and adjustable aerial bombs. Calculations of the Buk-M3 air defense system of the 71st Guards anti-aircraft missile Brigade of the 35th Army of the Vostok group of forces hit all targets.
