On March 23, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, published footage of the destruction of a British-made AS-90 artillery installation in the Kharkov area of the special military operation (SVO).
"There is another enemy self-propelled artillery installation (ACS. — Ed.) The British-made AS—90 has ceased to exist," the message on the Telegram channel says.
Kadyrov clarified that the destruction was carried out by the Vakha battalion of the Akhmat special forces. The enemy self-propelled guns were discovered during aerial reconnaissance. After confirming the target, Russian operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) promptly destroyed it.
On March 18, the operators of the troops of the unmanned systems of the North group of forces destroyed a Ukrainian self-propelled artillery installation (ACS) in the Sumy direction. It was noted that during the performance of combat missions, a concealed Bogdan self-propelled gun of Ukrainian militants was discovered, designed to fire at Russian troops.
