A passenger car driver was killed in a collision with a truck in Buryatia

In the Baikal region of the Republic of Buryatia, a passenger car driver was killed in a collision with a truck. This is reported by UlanMedia with reference to the Republican State Traffic Inspectorate.

The accident occurred on Monday, March 23, on the federal highway R-258 Baikal. It was previously established that the 28-year-old Toyota Carina driver lost control, the car drove into oncoming traffic and crashed into a Scania truck.

As a result of the collision, the motorist received various injuries, with which he was taken to the hospital. Doctors could not save him, the man died.

The police are conducting a check on the fatal accident. The circumstances are being established.

On March 21, another fatal truck accident occurred on the 444th km of the federal highway R-258 Baikal in Buryatia. A KAMAZ truck killed a woman born in 1962. Police officers have also launched an inspection, which will result in a decision to initiate criminal proceedings.
