The mother of the stepson of rock musician Stas Namin (real name - Anastas Mikoyan) Roman Tkachenko, accused of murdering his grandmother and stepbrother, accused her ex-husband of cruelty. This was announced on March 23 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the hall of the Moscow Regional Court.

"It's my fault that I connected my life with a very cruel man. Roma's psyche is fragile, he had problems, they worsened," she said.

According to the lawyer, despite her wealth and the opportunity to study abroad, Tkachenko's soul has been "disharmony and loneliness" since childhood. Prior to that, the defense asked the court to reclassify the charge to Part 2 of Article 107 ("Murder of two or more persons committed in a state of passion").

On the same day, the prosecutor's office asked to find Namin's stepson guilty of the double murder and to sentence him to 20 years in a high-security penal colony. The prosecutor considered the defense's version, which claimed that Tkachenko had killed his family in a state of passion, far-fetched. Tkachenko fell to his knees in the courtroom and burst into tears, delivering his last words.

The bodies of Namin's mother-in-law and his 30-year-old son Artyom with multiple stab wounds were found in their house in the village of Kryukovo near Moscow on the night of October 19, 2023. As the source of Izvestia noted, Tkachenko quarreled with relatives over the sale of the house. During the conflict, he killed his grandmother, after which he called his brother and told him what had happened. When he arrived at the scene, Roman dealt with him as well. After the crime, Tkachenko called the police and confessed to the crime.

Tkachenko pleaded guilty to the crime on March 18. According to him, he, who has survived "at least 10 concussions," has been allegedly communicating with his "other self" for several years. The Izvestia correspondent, who was present at the meeting that day, clarified that the second identity of Namin's stepson was Zera. The defendant stated that it appeared due to the accumulation of negativity. Tkachenko refused to undergo treatment, as he was afraid that his real identity would be erased.
