Ukrainian media found out about the search for men by employees of the shopping mall on dating sites

Employees of the shopping mall (territorial recruitment centers, an analogue of the military enlistment office in Ukraine) operate on dating sites, where they get to know men, who are subsequently mobilized at the first meeting. This was announced on March 23 by one of the women involved in this scheme named Svetlana, speaking to the Ukrainian edition "Страна.иа ".

"This is the third year (we have been doing this. — Ed.). <...> You have registered on the website. We met, then we made an appointment, then the guys come and pick us up," she said.

Answering a question from a journalist, Svetlana stressed that in this way she and her colleagues managed to mobilize many young people into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). According to her, active young men become "candidates".

On March 21, the Ukrainian edition of the Times of Ukraine reported on the mobilization of a man directly from his own wedding ceremony. It is noted that the incident occurred in one of the banquet halls of Odessa, where guests had already gathered at that time. After the groom was forcibly taken away, those who came to the celebration were left alone in the festively decorated room.
