MWM wrote about Iran's destruction of elements of the Patriot air defense system in Bahrain

Iran has attacked targets in Bahrain, which have hit elements of the American Patriot air defense system. This was reported on March 23 by Military Watch Magazine (MWM).

"Satellite images have confirmed that the Iranian strikes destroyed several parts of the MIM-104 Patriot anti-aircraft missile system at the Riffa airbase in Bahrain, as well as damaged two fortified shelters at the facility," the publication says.

The authors of the material emphasize that Patriot systems have once again demonstrated poor effectiveness in attempts to intercept Iranian ballistic missiles.

According to MWM, now the operators of the complexes release not two, but three interceptor missiles for each incoming target.

Experts attribute this to an attempt to compensate for the "much lower than expected probability of success" of American systems in real combat conditions.

Some of the complexes continue to operate and attack targets, despite claims of their destruction.

The IRNA news agency reported on March 20 that Iran had attacked 25 targets in Haifa and Tel Aviv, as well as US military bases in the region. Khorremshahr-4 and Ghadr missiles with separable warheads of the IRGC aerospace forces were used for the attacks.
