The Arctic region was among the leaders in kvass consumption
The Murmansk Region has become one of the leaders in kvass consumption in Russia. In winter, sales of this drink in the region amounted to 681 liters per 1,000 people. The indicator decreased by 10% over the year.

Consumers in the Kirov region took the first place — 1,022 liters per 1,000 inhabitants. The indicator grew by 6% over the year. Also in the top five are the Lipetsk Region (510 liters per 1,000 people), the Kemerovo Region (499 liters per 1,000 people), and the Altai Territory (491 liters per 1,000 people).
The most expensive kvass in the Chukotka Autonomous Region. On average, 1 liter costs 169 rubles. The cheapest drinks are in Chechnya. There, 1 liter of kvass can be purchased for 55 rubles.
Earlier it was reported that companies are expanding the range of energy products in the market due to the growing demand. In January, three players at once — Baltika, PepsiCo and Magnit — applied for brand registration in this category. Business interest in launching new products in this segment is linked to the shift of some consumers to soft drinks, as well as the growing demand for energy drinks from zoomers.
