The Tagansky District Court of Moscow fined the American company Amazon 3 million rubles for failure to delete prohibited information. This was reported on March 23 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.

Amazon was found guilty under Part 2 of Article 13.41 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Failure to fulfill the obligation to restrict access to information").

It clarifies that the company did not restrict access to materials prohibited on the territory of the Russian Federation, ignoring the relevant requirements.

The Tagansky court fined Apple on March 16 for 3.5 million rubles. It is noted that the Tagansky District Court of Moscow found Apple guilty of committing an administrative offense under Part 2 of Article 13.41 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation related to the failure to delete information or restrict access to it.
