On March 24, at 2 p.m., a press conference "Tuberculosis Today: National Achievements and global Challenges" dedicated to World Tuberculosis Day will be held at the Izvestia News Center.

They will tell about the current epidemic situation of tuberculosis in Russia and the world, about Russia's key achievements in the fight against tuberculosis over the past 15 years, about modern diagnostic methods at an early stage, as well as about the importance of vaccination against tuberculosis at an early age and the features of vaccination of children with immunodeficiency:

-Andrey Plutnitsky, Deputy Minister of Health of the Russian Federation;

-Irina Vasilyeva, Chief Freelance Specialist in Phthisiology at the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Director of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "NMIC FPI" of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation;

- Batyr Berdyklychev, Head of the WHO Country Office in Russia;

-Olga Yanchenko, Head of the Department of Organization of Medical and Sanitary Provision of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia;

-Andrey Prodeus, Chief Freelance pediatric allergist and Immunologist at the Ministry of Health of the Moscow Region;

-Nadezhda Klevno, Chief Researcher at the Scientific Child and Adolescent Department of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "NMIC FPI" of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation;

-Vladimir Mozgovoy, Chief Physician of the Republican Clinical Tuberculosis Hospital of the DPR.
