More than 40 people were injured in a collision between an airplane and a car at New York's La Gaurdia airport. This was announced on March 23 by the head of the Port Authority of New York, Catherine Garcia.
"This is preliminary information, it may change, but as far as we know, about 41 people were taken to hospitals," she said.
