Lukashenko allows Lithuanian trucks to leave Belarus
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has approved the departure of Lithuanian heavy trucks, which were blocked on the territory of the republic after Vilnius closed checkpoints last fall. This was announced on March 23 by the press service of the Belarusian government.
"The Head of State, having considered the appeal of Lithuanian and Polish carriers, decided on the possibility of departure of cargo vehicles with Lithuanian registration," the message says.
