The number of victims of a fire in an apartment building in the center of Moscow increased to three people on Wednesday. This was reported to Izvestia on March 23 by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.

"Unfortunately, three people were killed and four others were injured," the source said.

During the firefighting, fire service personnel rescued 25 people, including six children.

A fire in an apartment building on Nikoloyamskaya Street in Moscow became known earlier that day. It is reported that the source of the fire was in an apartment on the second floor of the building. Then the fire spread to the lobby and the elevator room, after which the fire spread to the floor above.
