Geely has launched sales of a new version of the Preface sedan in Russia

Sales of the new version of the Geely Preface sedan have started in Russia. The novelty differs from the previous modification by a deformed engine. As stated in the message of the brand's representatives, which was received by Izvestia on March 23, due to the reduction in power, the engine has become more economical.

The Geely Preface retained the two—liter turbo engine, while its power was reduced from 200 to 150 hp. The maximum torque remained the same - 325 Nm. Acceleration time from zero to 100 km/h increased from 7.1 to 9.5 seconds. A seven-speed robotic transmission is still combined with the engine. Fuel consumption in the combined cycle is stated at 7.1 liters per 100 km.

The sedan is offered in two trim levels — for 3.33 million and 3.43 million rubles, respectively. The basic version includes a full winter package, 17-inch wheels, LED headlights, black eco-leather interior and seats, black ceiling, dual-zone climate control, 10.2-inch digital dashboard, 13.2-inch central touchscreen display, eight-speaker audio system, parking sensors, six airbags, all-round vision system and other options.

In the maximum version, the sedan is equipped with additional active safety systems, electric adjustment of the front passenger seat in four directions, as well as 18-inch black discs, ventilation of the front seats and an audio system with 12 speakers. Preface first entered the Russian market in August 2024.

Earlier, on March 20, it was reported that sales of the new compact crossover Belgee X50+ began in Russia. The production of cars has been established at the Belji Belarusian plant. The Belgee X50+ is offered in Russia in three trim levels: for 2.32 million, 2.51 million and 2.68 million rubles, respectively.
