As of 9:00 a.m. Moscow time, more than 80 flights were delayed (over two hours), 62 flights were canceled, and 45 aircraft left for alternate airfields. The airport was in a situation of airspace restrictions for almost 18 hours.
"The situation with flight delays is not easy, but representatives of airlines and airports are doing everything possible to normalize the schedule as soon as possible," the publication says.
Currently, temporary flight restrictions have been lifted in Pulkovo. Measures have been taken to ensure flight safety.
