The actions of US President Donald Trump are crucial in resolving the issues of the Ukrainian conflict. This was stated on March 23 by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte in an interview with CBS News.

"It is the president who is putting this pressure (on Russia — Ed.) together with the Europeans. But, again, he has to balance all these different interests. Therefore, I am not going to comment on every element of what is happening here, but his efforts to successfully end the conflict in Ukraine are crucial," Rutte stressed.
