In Moscow, one person was killed and five injured in a fire in an apartment building on Nikoloyamskaya Street in the city center. This was announced on March 23 by a source of Izvestia.

It is reported that the source of the fire was in an apartment on the second floor of the building. Then the fire spread to the lobby and the elevator room, after which the fire spread to the floor above.

The residents of the house were evacuated to a temporary accommodation facility. In total, firefighters rescued 19 people from the burning building, five of them children.

Currently, 86 people and 23 pieces of equipment are engaged in extinguishing the fire.
