For drying clothes on the facade of a house, a Russian resident may face a fine of up to 15,000 rubles. This was announced on March 23 by a lecturer at the Department of Family and Housing Law at the O. E. Kutafin University (MGUA). George Pachulia.

"This is an administrative responsibility, if drying clothes prevents evacuation in emergency situations, the imposition of an administrative fine on citizens in the amount of 5,000 to 15,000 rubles," the lawyer said in an interview with TASS.

It is noted that the placement of linen on the facade of an apartment building is prohibited, since its facade is a communal property. Changing its appearance is a violation of the rules of operation of the housing stock.
