Szijjarto accused the Hungarian opposition of wanting to let Ukraine into the European Union

If the Hungarian opposition party Tisa comes to power, Ukraine will be allowed into the European Union (EU), and Hungary will be drawn into the conflict. This was announced on March 22 by Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations Peter Szijjarto.

"Of course, everyone knows what to expect from Tisa: a green light for Ukraine's accession to the EU, Ukrainians will be able to take the money of the Hungarian people and drag our country into the Ukrainian crisis. Our answer is: never!" — Szijjarto emphasized in a video message on his Facebook page (owned by Meta, which is recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).
