Attackers can hack into smart speakers to monitor users through them. This was announced on March 22 by the Directorate for Combating the Illegal Use of Information and Communication Technologies of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for St. Petersburg and the region in the Telegram channel.

"Such devices can be used to spy on users, including Russians," the publication says, citing Kaspersky experts.
