The Chief of the General Staff of the Israeli Army, Eyal Zamir, has approved a plan for targeted ground operations in Iran. This was announced by the Army press service on March 22.

"Yesterday (Saturday), the Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir, approved plans for conducting targeted ground operations in Lebanon together with the General Staff Forum, division and brigade commanders operating in the northern direction," the IDF said in a statement on its official Telegram channel.
