Russian figure skaters began to look for alternative ways to leave St. Petersburg

Figure skaters who competed at the Channel One Cup in St. Petersburg are forced to look for alternative ways to get home due to problems at the airport. Olympic champion Maxim Trankov, the tournament's host, announced this on March 22.

"Everyone makes a decision based on the information announced at the airport. If they say that the flight has been canceled, then there is no point in staying at the airport, people find alternative ways. I'm still waiting for boarding, the flight is postponed, so I'm still waiting," Trankov told TASS.
