Rosneft told about participation in reforestation measures

In 2021-2025, Rosneft enterprises planted about 46 million seedlings and saplings of trees as part of measures to preserve nature and biological diversity. This was reported in the Information and advertising Department of PJSC NK Rosneft.

They recalled that March 21 marks the International Day of Forests, which was established by the UN General Assembly. Last year alone, employees of Rosneft's subsidiaries planted 8.1 million seedlings of various tree species during reforestation activities.

Thus, employees of RN-Yuganskneftegaz planted 3.1 million coniferous seedlings on an area of more than 830 hectares in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug. Employees of Verkhnechonskneftegaz planted 1.1 million Siberian seedlings in the Irkutsk region. Environmentalists of the East Siberian Oil and Gas Company have planted about 1 million coniferous seedlings in Siberia.

RN-Nyaganneftegaz planted more than 838,000 Siberian and common pine seedlings on an area of 240 hectares. RN-Uvatneftegaz planted 744,000 pine seedlings on an area of 200 hectares in the Tyumen Region. 550 thousand pine seedlings have appeared in Yamal on a total area of almost 180 hectares.

Bashneft activists have planted 255 thousand coniferous trees in Bashkortostan and the Tyumen region, laying a young forest on an area of 73 hectares. Samotlorneftegaz has planted more than 200,000 coniferous seedlings, and Samaraneftegaz volunteers have planted almost 20,000 seedlings in a year.

Slavneft-Krasnoyarsk Oil Company volunteers have planted more than 700,000 coniferous saplings. "RN-Vankor" in the Krasnoyarsk Territory and in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District carried out work on the care of previously planted 800 thousand seedlings of pine and Siberian spruce.

Rosneft recalled that employees of the company's enterprises and their family members regularly participate in environmental initiatives. In addition to landscaping and beautification of urban and park areas, they participate in the All-Russian campaigns "Green Spring", "Forest Planting Day", "Save the Forest" and others.
