The youth of Donbass honored the memory of the victims of the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall

Activists of youth non-profit organizations (NGOs) The Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) held an action on the day of remembrance of the victims of the terrorist act at the Crocus City Hall concert hall. The relevant footage is published by Izvestia on March 22.

As a sign of sorrow, the participants lit lamps and put out the inscription "We grieve on 22.23.2024."

"On the eve of the second anniversary of the terrorist attack, the youth of Donbass gathered <...> to honor the memory of all the victims," said Izvestia correspondent Yevgeny Bykovsky.

Strict requirements: the victims are unhappy with the verdict of the Crocus terrorists

The perpetrators and 15 of their accomplices were sentenced to life and long terms, but the investigation continues to look for the organizers.

The terrorist attack in Crocus occurred on March 22, 2024. Then armed terrorists in camouflage broke into the concert hall and opened fire, setting the premises on fire. As a result of the incident, 149 people were killed and over 600 were injured in various degrees of severity.

Alyona Verbenin, the mother of Maxim Verbenin, a wheelchair user who died in the terrorist attack, told Izvestia on March 12 that his remains could only be buried almost two years after the tragedy. In the first months after the tragedy, the body could not be found because of the high temperature.

Lawyer Igor Trunov also announced on March 17 that the victims were insisting on a review of the criminal case in connection with the deaths of two people during the trial. He clarified that two victims who were seriously injured in the attack died while undergoing long-term treatment.
