The EU countries will try to get Russian energy resources, but they will be at the end of this "Queue". This was announced on March 21 by Kirill Dmitriev, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF).

"EU countries will soon try to join the queue for Russian energy resources. The queue is long, and they will be proud to take the end of it," he wrote on the social network X.

This is how he commented on a publication by economist Christophe Barrault, where he talks about measures to mitigate the crisis that EU countries are taking to curb rising energy and fuel prices.
