Dmitriev predicted an acceleration of inflation in the world due to rising energy prices

Kirill Dmitriev, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for investment and economic cooperation with Foreign countries, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), predicted an acceleration of inflation on March 21 due to rising prices for energy and raw materials.

"Prices will continue to rise, with cascading effects on all other sectors and inflation," he wrote on the social network X.

He commented on the publication of The Spectator index, which highlighted data on rising prices for energy and related commodities over the past month.

"European gas: +93%, fuel oil: +68%, Brent crude: +52%, WTI crude: +45%, gasoline: +39%, urea: +35%, sulfur: +23%, coal: +20%," the post reported.
