Thousands of German luxury cars stranded on Lamu Island in Kenya
Thousands of German luxury cars have piled up on the small Kenyan island of Lamu due to logistical problems amid the worsening situation in the Middle East. This was reported by the Bild newspaper on March 21.
"On the tiny island of Lamu (population 25.8 thousand people), with an area of only 57 square kilometers, there are currently about 4 thousand new cars, including Porsche and Volkswagen models. Initially, they were heading from Japan to Dubai. But this did not happen," the publication says.
