In Odessa, the groom was mobilized during the wedding ceremony
In Odessa, employees of the territorial recruitment center (TCC, an analogue of the military enlistment office) mobilized the groom right before the start of the wedding ceremony. This was reported on March 21 by the Ukrainian edition of the Times of Ukraine.
It is noted that the military commissars broke into one of the banquet halls of the city, where the guests had already gathered, and detained the groom, disrupting the celebration. People stayed in the festively decorated but deserted hall.
"A wedding was canceled in Odessa because the groom was taken to the military enlistment office," the media's Telegram channel says.
On the same day, Russian law enforcement agencies reported that the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) had agreed to strengthen measures of "falsification" (forcible detention of conscripts by military enlistment officers). Foreign mercenaries from Poland and Romania are also involved in carrying out separate events on the border territory.
The publication "Country.ua" reported on March 16 that in Odessa, employees of the shopping mall opened fire on civilians during mobilization. The incident occurred when residents of one of the courtyards tried to prevent the staff of the military enlistment office from picking up a man for conscription.
