A truck killed a woman on the Baikal highway in Buryatia

In the Ivolginsky district of the Republic of Buryatia, a 63-year-old woman was killed by a truck. This is reported by the Republican Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

The hit-and-run occurred on Saturday afternoon, March 21, on the 444th km of the federal highway R-258 Baikal. It was previously established that the 64-year-old driver of a KAMAZ truck hit a woman born in 1962.

As a result of the accident, the pedestrian received various injuries, from which she died on the spot, UlanMedia writes. On the fact of the incident, police officers organized a check, the circumstances of the death of the person are being established.

On March 6, in Velikiye Luki (Pskov region), a pickup truck drove onto the sidewalk and killed a boy born in 2014. The driver of the Mitsubishi L200 allegedly lost control.
