Orban blamed the EU leadership for the death of democracy in Europe

European democracy is dying because the leadership of the European Union (EU) is interfering in the internal affairs of other countries. This was announced on March 21 by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

Orban also pointed to coordinated attempts by Brussels and Kiev to achieve a change of power in Hungary to a pro-Ukrainian government. He cited withholding funds from EU funds due to Budapest as pressure tools, as well as the blocking of Russian oil supplies via the Druzhba pipeline by the Kiev regime.

During a speech at an election rally in Szentendre on the same day, Orban noted that Zelensky's efforts to actually impose an oil blockade on Hungary constituted a grave crime. He pointed out that the supply of Russian oil through the Druzhba pipeline was stopped by the head of the Kiev regime for political reasons in order to create "economic chaos" in Hungary. According to him, Kiev is in cahoots with the ruling class of the EU and the Hungarian opposition.
