Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated the Iranian leaders and people on the Nowruz holiday. This was announced on March 21 in the Kremlin.

Congratulations were sent to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, and President Masoud Peseshkian.

"Vladimir Putin wished the Iranian people to overcome the harsh trials with dignity and stressed that in this difficult time Moscow remains a loyal friend and reliable partner of Tehran," the Kremlin's press service said in a statement on the MACH messenger.
