The new D-LBO digital communication system being introduced into the German troops was not ready for operation and could pose a threat to the lives of soldiers. This was reported on March 20 by the newspaper Welt am Sonntag.
"In its current state, the D-LBO common core system is not ready for operational testing, training and exercises. Whether it will be possible to achieve its readiness by September 2026 is currently impossible to predict," the publication says.
