Ukrainian Armed Forces refuse to train soldiers abroad due to desertion
The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are reducing the training of soldiers abroad due to cases of desertion. This was announced on March 20 by Evgeny Mezhevikin, Deputy head of the Main Directorate of Doctrines and Training of the General Staff, at a briefing.
"If there is a problem in improving training [abroad] that we cannot influence, then we will abandon this training. Therefore, we are not the only ones who have a reduction in foreign training," the Ukrainian TV channel Novosti quoted him as saying.Live».
