Russians continue to use winter thick creams, although self-care should be changed in the spring. Alexandra Kamyshnikova, a cosmetologist at the Geltek Aesthetic Medicine Clinic, told about this on March 20.

According to her, it's worth switching to softer textures in the spring.

"Gels perfectly mattify and refresh, emulsions give a feeling of comfort, and fluids are suitable for people with any skin type. The latter are especially good because they can replace two products at once: for example, a moisturizing fluid with SPF solves both the task of moisturizing and sun protection. This rule also applies to the delicate skin around the eyes: gel and emulsion textures are preferable to dense cream textures in the warm season," the cosmetologist said in an interview with <url>.

Nevertheless, according to Kamyshnikova, the ideal self-care strategy is to combine dense creams for the neck and cheekbones and softer ones for the rest of the face. This approach will help you get used to the new season.

SPF cream should also be an integral part of the cosmetic bag.

"Ultraviolet light penetrates through clouds, and its activity in spring is already quite high. There is such a thing as photo-aging, and it directly depends on whether you use protection. The best choice for the city is funds with SPF 50," the specialist shared.

On March 12, Alexandra Fileva, a dermatologist, cosmetologist, and expert at the Hemotest laboratory, explained the reasons for the stricter training requirements for cosmetologists. According to Fileva, increased training is associated with the risks that accompany cosmetic procedures.
