Ust-Luga free economic zone to be expanded
The free Economic zone in Ust-Luga (Leningrad Region) will be expanded to accommodate auxiliary enterprises for the port cluster. This was agreed upon by the head of the region, Alexander Drozdenko, during a working trip to Moscow.
According to the governor, a positive decision was made by a commission led by Deputy Chairman of the Russian government Alexander Novak.
The territory of the FEZ will be increased by 15 hectares. In particular, the production of consumables for the transportation and processing of polypropylene will be located there.
The authorities expect to receive 7 billion rubles of investments and an increase in tax revenues by 2.2 billion rubles. 400 new jobs will also be created, writes 78.ru .
