Pskov resident stole someone else's jacket due to severe frosts

A resident of Pskov will stand trial for stealing a jacket from a shopping mall. He faces up to three years in prison, the press service of the city prosecutor's office reported on Friday, March 20.

The theft occurred in January 2026. A man was walking through a store and saw a shopping cart with a winter jacket hanging on it. The attacker decided to kidnap her because he was in autumn clothes, and it was freezing outside.

When Pskovich realized that no one was watching him, he quickly put on his jacket and left the shopping center. He found wireless headphones and money in his pockets.

According to the Pskov news feed, the total damage to the victim amounted to more than 10 thousand rubles. The criminal case has already been sent to the court for consideration on the merits.
