The plane with Czech Prime Minister Andrei Babis on board turned around to Prague after reports of a possible terrorist attack in the country. This was announced on March 20 by the Denikn portal.

"The head of government was on his way to Budapest to participate in a debate with Hungarian journalists close to the Fidesz party," the publication says.

It is clarified that due to information about a possible terrorist attack in the city of Pardubice, he returned to the capital and convened the State Security Council.

Babis said on January 19 that the Czech Republic would not sell its own L-159 aircraft to Ukraine. According to him, the issue of selling equipment to Kiev was discussed at a meeting of the leaders of the ruling coalition of the Czech Republic. The Minister of Defense of the Republic, Jaromir Zunu, stated that the aircraft's service life ends only in 2040, so the Czech army still needs them.
