The leadership in Brussels is plunging Europe into darkness and crisis. On March 20, Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, commented on the position of the European Commission on the purchase of Russian gas.

"It now seems absolutely logical for the EU to plunge into darkness in the truest sense of the word. It is not a technical disaster or some natural disasters that are causing the global crisis in the European Union, but the decisions of its own leaders who simply turn the switch. And this is not about their personal choice, but about the fact that they are dragging entire countries into darkness," she wrote on her Telegram channel.
