The United States announced Iran's alleged execution of the country's wrestling champion

A death sentence has been carried out in the Iranian city of Qom, allegedly against the country's wrestling champion Saleh Mohammadi. This was stated on March 19 by Iranian activist Masih Alinejad, who lives in the United States, on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

It is indicated that Mohammadi was executed because of his participation in the January protests. According to Alinejad, two more young men were executed along with the young athlete.
