- TMZ has learned about Tarantino and Stallone's plans to make a miniseries about the 1930s era.
American screenwriter Quentin Tarantino and actor Sylvester Stallone will co-direct a new miniseries dedicated to the era of the 1930s. This was reported on March 20 by the TMZ portal, citing sources.
"Quentin Tarantino has chosen his next project and will invite Sylvester Stallone to co-direct an apparently amazing 1930s—style series," the publication says.
According to the portal, the project will consist of six episodes. A special feature of the production will be the use of original cameras released in the 1930s, and the tape itself will be shot in a black-and-white palette to achieve maximum authenticity.
The film "Sinners" won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay on March 15. This work has previously been awarded similar awards by BAFTA and the Screenwriters Guild of the USA. In addition, the Oscar was awarded to the cartoon "K-pop-Demon Hunters" in the category "Best Animated Film", beating "Zootopia 2". Guillermo del Toro's "Frankenstein" collected awards in the nominations "Best makeup and hairstyles", "Best Costumes", "Best Production Design".
